For ~Kitsuchi-chan VIA the Fantasy Art Xchange.

This month's theme was "character interaction", which meant that I had to draw my chosen's character with one of my own. I kept racking my brain on how I was going to draw her Djali with my Liah without making it too boring. So here they are racing on the back of adolescent talokun.

Do not try this at home, kids. Talokun are actually fierce desert predators. They don't normally hunt out humanoids, but will turn any human dumb enough to get close enough to them as a tasty snack. Liah, however, can get away with this since she is a beastmaster. To get a good idea of what her communication is like, watch the movie, Beastmaster. The first one, since that one was awesome and all of them after that one have been crap.

Djali seems less then enthused about riding on the back of an overgrown gila monster that can outrun a landspeeder.

On a side note, talokun may be draconic in appearance but are not "true" dragons. The only "true" dragons in the azure wheel universe are the two Theran species. Talokun are more like gigantic desert lizards. They are more related to iguanas or skinks then dragons.
