My entry for Movie Poster contest.After several days of off and on work and working around an art funk, I finally got this done. And I'm sure proud of it. As with everything, I could probably have done more. But too much to look at can hurt a picture oddly enough.
I sure wish this was a real movie eh? I wonder if people will recognize the 4 names up there...heheheeee.

Awesome job! You've placed in a lot of detail and effort in his one, which is a plus! The only downside is that I THINK that Maria's hair isn't supposed to be parted so much...
But that's just my opinion.

It all really depends on which Maria you look at honestly. >> Sonic X Maria looks like she has bangs, while SA2 and Shadow the Hedgehog Maria look like they got long hair the whole way through. It was very confusing XD But I did my best!

I think they should too! That short rocked! That's what Sega seems to be best at. CG animation and music. That just screams movie potential and I don't know why they haven't done it yet ><

The reason they won't/can't make a movie is based on legal issues. The same reason the Knuckles movie got shot down before it could ever start back in '06 or '07. (They were gonna use Archie's storyline, not SEGA's during that production)
So the problem is, two companies basically "own" Sonic and crew. Archie and SEGA, it's not that their isn't any interest over the character, they've got some really movie material backstories, it's that there's too large of a legal headache to deal with.

Oh, man, I wish I could color and shade like that... Did you do the background yourself? I like pics of planets. not sure why, I just think they look interesting. Cool idea! Wish I could think I could think of something creative like you did... I come up blank for anything like this...

The background consists of two googled pics, one of Earth and the other of a cluster of stars. I then just kinda merged them in Photoshop. I wish I had made it myself, but then it wouldn't look that good

Thanks. I uploaded a much better version to my gallery and am secretly adding more to it behind the scenes. But Starlight is a girl character lol. Probably can't tell well cuz its tiny lol.
