This file is huge.
Not as big as the original ( this is about 45% of the original @_@ ), but I didn't want to kill everyone with a like 20 meg file XDROFL It's not exactly Valentine's Day SPECIFIC (no hearts and all that hoodie hoo) but since I had done the lineart about a week ago I decided that I may as well use it as such.
So um, Happy Valentine's Day or something, Zephyr style. XD

I am sooo glad to be finished with this.

Beautiful flow in colours and design of the two characters. Love the clothing details, and the posework for them is quite romantically warm. They have a nice aura. I'm a little neutral on the background though. While it fits the scene, the planet and the stars don't have the same composition to the rest of the work. (At least for the stars. A brush set perhaps...? Not that there's anything wrong with using them!) The background that the couple is sitting on and the wall behind them is very good otherwise.

Hm, no no brush set. Though after I did some post work to the space area itself the poor stupid planet looked a bit pasted which annoyed me but after 8 hours of fighting with comcast over my internect connection I didn't much care.

much better with no hearts all over *thumbs up* I really love it. their pose is just so lovely, and the setting is gorgeous. I just love this world you dreamt up, I wish I could live there for a while ^^

Aww, thank you! On occasion hearts and pink and whatnot has its place, but... I try not to use them. Might as well convey what you want to without having to try to use blatant symbols like that, you know. :3?

This is just nothing short of fantastic, Ultema. :3 The futuristic setting is wonderfully detailed and eye catching, and yet not distracting from the main focus of the image - it blends and flows together as one entire piece. 
As for the characters themselves: you've done their poses rather well. I have difficulty pulling off such casual, laid-back posture while drawing just one character. XD Bravo! Also I like how you manage to keep consistency with Ultema's facial features in your deviations. A lot of characters out there have the same clothing and/or hair and are recognizable by that while the artist may not pay as much attention to keeping the face the same. (I know 'cause I've done that plenty o' times meself. XD) It's alright when you're experimenting with style or still in the early stages of character design, but at some point it's good to get a set appearance like you have with Ultema.
Anywho! Lastly but not leastly, I gotta say I love the feeling of this particular scene. Either talking or simply sitting in comfortable silence it's obvious they love each other deeply, without the need of making the drawing all mushy or excessively cuddly. This makes an excellent Valentines Day picture.
Her hubby's a hottie, too. ;3

I wish I didn't just get up, I'd have something more intelligent to say to you than "D'awwwww thank you sooo much". Your comments are always so wonderfully detailed, it really helps know what's up and what's down about what I'm doing. I've been trying hard lately to make sure my facial features are at least somewhat consistant ( as well as different across each character), but sometimes pencils make it hard when they start making big fat black marks everywhere

Damn! This is awesome. Your linework, coloring and backgrounds never fail to impress me. As a matter of fact, the detail in those outfits and the stars and earth in the bg sort of scares me. Nice work.
It's also nice to see a Valentine pic that ain't set in a grassy meadow. Digital love, now that's my kinda valentine.

I'd SO rock his outfit. That jacket is the bangs right there.
Excellent piece. Colors are of course fantastic! Fan-TAS-tic! LOVE the background (That Ragol in the back? lol). But most importantly, the characters look great. They have a real convey emotion goin and they look naturally relaxed.

Hmm, about... 21 years? (She's 48 and he's 52 -- which are about our equivalents of 30 and 34. Maidenites enjoy an extended prime and lifetime in general ). They're one of the less "traditional" Maidenite couples in that they were married before 40 and had children before 50.

And thanks XD it was so enormous this thing took forever because I put in little details no one can see / will care about ROFL Sigh. Oh well, at least it's good for printing should I ever want to do that for some reason.
