"But maybe I'm a little biased" No, definitely not. This is by far the best mega charizard x sprite I've seen. In fact, whenever i play a pokemon essentials fan-game that has mega evolution, i always replace the sprites with full body 2d sprites, and i always use these for mega charizard x. I have a few suggestions; I would try to make the tail less thick which would in turn give you more space to make the wings bigger, which is the second suggestion. In all the best animated/drawn versions of mega charizard x in the anime (mostly in origins) charizards wings are very big and really intimidating; you've got the general shape down I would just make them bigger, tbh as big as possible without making the tail look too small would probably be the best. The position of the wings and also shape are very good, the position is just like how they are in origins (which imo has the best depiction of mega charizard x). The shape of the wings is also perfect, in most media all the parts of the wings are pretty much the same size and shape but I like the idea of them being around the same size but different shapes more, it gives them a tattered look and makes it look much more dragon like. The final things I have to comment on are the talons. The talons are also pretty much perfect size, shape, and positioning, the only thing I would change is if you were to by some miracle take my suggestions and try to revamp this sprite (which i would LOVE) when you make the wings bigger i would give the talons/talons extensions a longer more skeletal and pointy look. This sprite is great, amazing even, you're definitely talented, and i look forward to seeing more stuff like this.
