Bruce Wayne, CEO - Bruce Wayne, Billionaire Playboy - Unmasked - Batman - Dream Variant

Bruce Wayne had everything a child could want. Born into the Wayne family, industrial magnates and a staple of Gotham City for generations, Bruce had loving parents, a faithful butler, and a bright future.
That all changed when Gotham's growing desperation took the shape of a burglar at the end of his rope, who gunned down Thomas and Martha Wayne in front of Bruce's eyes.
Raised by Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce resolved not to give in to his hatred, and chose to channel his anger so no one else would ever have to go suffer through what he was forced to survive.
Upon reaching adulthood, Bruce dropped out of university to pursue his true passion: the means to prey on the predators, to become more than a man, to transform into an incorruptible symbol of hope and justice. He spent years developing and perfecting every form of martial arts, detective skills, chemistry, engineering, stunt driving, sleight of hand, several languages, among other skills.
Returning to Gotham not as the angry young man that left it, but as a symbol, he took on the persona of a bat, becoming the night, becoming vengeance, becoming Batman.
In his first year, Batman would take on organized crime and corruption in Gotham, putting Gotham's corrupt elite behind bars. Yet, a curious thing happened. It seemed The Batman's existence invited escalation, and soon, costumed criminals and meta-humans began to appear in Gotham to challenge the caped crusader for the fate of Gotham City. The first of these was The Joker, and the two would shape each other over the course of their battles, with Joker becoming the agent of chaos and anarchy, while Batman would learn to temper his rage and become justice in the shadows, a dark knight.

Behind The Scenes: Another year, another Batman. Normally, I refine the shading with each entry, but this is the first time in a while where the linework has gotten what I feel to be an upgrade. New jacket, new coat, new armor, improved shading, tweaks to make the micro pop out more with a brighter color scheme, and, as usual, Batman as he appeared in a dream sporting his blue and brown colors that always prove popular with all of you.
