This started out as a directionless render and became the idea that this is Velkan's 1st time getting mixed up in Jon's dangerous profession as the Obtainer. Both are in their mid to late 20s here. From there it further escalated into me learning a new technique of painting light and while this is only my 1st attempt, I have to say I'm proud of the result.

It's nice to figure out a new potential skill and develop my art, especially when I'm seeing how my random suggestions page on here is getting overrun by AI "art". Some artists that I used to follow suddenly dropped their own work in favour of that trash, too. It's frustrating. Anyway, I'm happy with my boys there. Some drama, mama!
