Description
"Are you afraid?" Tyron smiled at the chained vampire in front of him. "You don't have to be." Silence fell over the two, until Tyron looked at the stake in his hand. "I have to take that back. You should be afraid. Very afraid."Elijah couldn't look at him. His eyes wandered towards the glass with blood on the ground, again and again. The smell was stuck in his nose, the hunger burned.
"I just want to hear it. It's simple. I want to know the truth, Elijah, then all will be fine." Tyron played with the stake, weighing it in his hand. "Just say it."
"You don't know what you are doing...", Elijah growled, barely able to form a proper sentence.
"I do! I will make you confess what you did! You will confess what you did to Nick and then..."
What then? Tyron didn't know. Would he be able to go through with it and stake this... this thing that killed his best friend? Could he find the strength to be a murderer himself. Though, Elijah was dead after all...

Linky came to visit me and we actually decided to change HUGE parts of the vampire story we're writing for 8 years now again. We stopped writing one version (80 pages), finished a second (120 pages) and now finally we have a version we like with over 250 pages but we don't like the beginning and so... it will all change again *lol*
Took us 2 days to make this pic together

I was taken aback when I saw this. I don't see a huge change in Elijah - has has always had both child-like and feral, predatory aspects, and his face expresses both here - he is a deadly child filled with (literally) bloodthirsty anger. Tyron, though, looks completely different. Not in a physical sense - it doesn't look as if you've changed the model much, if at all. But whenever you've shown Tyron in the past, his relationship with Elijah has always been, subtly or overtly, one of dependence - in some ways, he's seemed closer to being Elijah's son than his lover, which I suppose he is in a vampire sense. (Which raises some interesting psychological issues ). The most recent example is "Hug Time", where Tyron is the smiling, playful one, and Elijah is the more serious one, with his arms protectively around Tyron. Even in "Rules of Attraction", Elijah was the dominant character, the focus of attention, and Tyron was in the background, reacting to what Elijah did but not influencing Elijah's actions.
This is the first time that I've seen Tyron as Elijah's equal - the first time that I've seen him not only independent of Elijah, but forcing Elijah into a situation that Elijah doesn't want to be in. Tyron has "come of age" - he appears here as an adult, not a child. Elijah is shown as a slave to his passions - symbolised by his craving for the glass of blood - while Tyron is thinking and reasoning, in control of himself.
It's a beautiful piece visually, superbly rendered and lit.

Hehe, you're absolutely right, yet again We decided to change Tyron, make him tougher and less the supporting act for Elijah who is always nice and mostly just has to go with the flow instead of acting himself.
He makes a mistake here, which will cost his life and make him a vampire, when he chains Elijah up and leaves him without blood for days until the vampire more or less loses his humanity due to his overwhelming hunger. This will be something which stands between them for some time. But Tyron thinks that he does the right thing here. He is totally furious about the death of his best friend and he is absolutely sure it was Elijah's fault.
Nick became a Ghoul, a vampire who didn't get blood right after the transformation and who lost all his humanity and sanity. He dies in Tyron's arms and Ty blames Elijah.
Thank you so much
