Before she was the Goddess of the Dead, Celebrie was the Phoenix Knight, slayer of undead throngs and hero of the Resurrection War. Now, she watches the gate between death and life, ensuring that the souls within are not raised too many times, to undeath or to life. For just as there is horror in a corpse being made to walk and fight again, so to is there horror in being brought back from death hundreds of times, as Celebrie and her comrades were. Never again shall life and death be locked in so fierce a battle as during the Resurrection War - the Goddess of the Dead makes sure of it.
