Axle - Runner for a local gang. Has some serious parent issues as his father is also a member of said group, and he doesn't trust many people. Fortunately, he's found solace in Kay, his significant other. He's awkward around strangers.

Grimm - Mia's estranged brother and resident GRIMMlin. Chaos personified. He's only recently come back into the picture, and they're trying to patch it up. Causes suffering wherever he goes.

Rae - Local bird striving to live a normal life in a sea of chaos. A childhood friend of Mia's thanks to their shared obsession with local myths and legends. They often find themselves used as transport.

Kay - His charisma is disgusting and he can probably talk anyone down from a fight. He'd be an animal tamer if he wasn't already an animal. However, he uses his cuteness to play pranks on people instead. He and Grimm are good pals.

Mia - Unusually timid for a Sneasel, probably because she wasn't raised by them and has no idea how to actually act like one. She's getting better thanks to her brother's influence. Raised by a Toxicroak, and has some advanced knowledge of herbs and poisons.
