Jewel was genetically created inside of a lab for a rich family, the family chose to use a Charmander, with hopes he would evolve into a charizard eventually, and a small little Carbink. The creation came out as an adorable rock-diamond infused dragon like creation. The family was happy, especially the young daughter that it was created for. Jewel at first enjoyed his caretakers they seemed nice, and he would get praise and love from them. The first few years of his life was gentle and caring, Jewel was getting adjusted to being spoiled, to having furry objects, all the food he wanted, and the likes. But things started to take a turn for the worse, his once caring family members turned into a true nightmare, even the young child.
Jewel was now being trained, pitted against bigger opponents to test out his skills, see what he was weak against and what he was strong against. When he was nice and complied, he got praise and fed well. When he did bad his food would be taken away and he would be scolded. The scolding was just words at first, but it progressed with each increased failure. Not only was Jewel not turning out to be the creation they wanted, he was also becoming a nuisance. Digging holes in the front yard of the house looking for things, and even eating their precious jewelry, the ones that looked like stones, whenever he got nervous or scared. His anger was hard to control, and so was his eating habits.
It was during one of the last times he was at his old home that him and the girl were getting ready to train, he was supposed to have evolved already, but he constantly refused to evolve due to his own personal reasons, he saw charizards, and he was terrified of them. The girl yelled at him, and the little creature would roar back. The parents and their pokemon came in, and well…. It wasn’t a pretty sight. The house was left in a mess, the humans injured but not dead, and little Jewel running from the terrifying, large dragon that was chasing him. He had managed to catch a break down an alleyway in Eterna city. He ran to the back, finding a little shelter he could hide in.
From exhaustion the little creature passed out right on the spots, some scrapes and bruises. The next thing Jewel knew, he awoke in an infirmary styled area, there were some strange pokemon that was there, but the creature that had saved him, a Mightyena that he learned was named Tseng had come to his rescue and brought him to the base to get him recovered. Jewel was at first scared and tried to threaten them with his unrecovered body, which caused a few little chuckles. Jewel took up to his new life at the organization, looking up to General Tseng, and wanting to be strong like him. He is dedicated, hard working, and he might get into some scrabbles with a Sableye or any other rock or gem eating pokemon, that is one of his main diets and favorite foods.
