Description
This is one of my favourite photographic subjects. I think only because it reminds me of my childhood though Corfe Castle is rather photogenic. Curiously, the castle is NOT actually a ruin and it's not about to fall down despite how it looks! This Norman castle in the beautiful county of Dorset, England was partially dismantled after it was considered as serving no further useful function. Dorset is rife with good photographic subjects; Blue Pool, Durdle Door, the quaint seaside town of Swanage to name but a few.
