With autumn pretty much upon us, here in the UK it's getting dark noticebly earlier as every day passes and warm, long, sunny days are but a memory. I wish it could be summer all year long. I was browsing my collection and found this one of foxgloves. I love the contrasts between the vibrant pink, red, greens and blue and it reminded me of a sunny day spent on the Cornish coast. Now what would have put the perfect touch to this would have been a bumble bee alighting on a petal just as my shutter clicked!
