I think the great thing about digital photography is that you can be playful; each photo costs next to nothing so taking a picture half-heartedly, not really expecting much is no great sacrifice. My first camera was filled with 35mm film that I'd spent months saving up for in pocket money... and then months more saving to pay for the processing! So then it was just landscapes and other 'traditional' subjects.This photo has little artistic merit but I'm glad I took it because it amuses me. I mean....it was taken in Amsterdam! Surely they got the words 'pot' and 'men' the wrong way round?
