Can You Hear The Beating?Thump-thump, Thump-thump

beats the heart
of the soul.
Perfectly in time with the rhythm
of the world.
An instrument in the symphany
of life.
So many pulses beating
in the center
of it all.
Can you hear it, the beating
of the drum?
Keeping pace with the escence
of our very lives.
All hearts, souls, and minds
beating together
in the center
of the universe.

Thump-thump, Thump-thump.

The Emo SpeechIntro-

Have you ever noticed the kids with pale skin and ridiculous hair, wearing jeans six sizes too small for them? It's a horrible sight, yes, but it seems to be the new trend these days. These kids are merely a product of what I like to call "the Emo Epidemic."

Preview of points-

For the past few months, I've been fortunate enough to get to observe these emo kids in one of their natural habitats- the local McDonald's. using what I've learned, both at my place of employment and with the wonders of the Internet, I am first going to explain how to spot an emo kid, then why they choose to be emo, and lastly I will explain the contribution 60. rejectionFirst one used-

I have the most
Beautiful friends
(and in more ways than one)
Better, of course,
With talents and smarts
Such wonderful friends…

Is it bitter

All my own…)

I rarely respond-
Not anymore-
And I don’t much care
For my efforts
(I saw the error
Of it all, long ago…)

I just wish
I could learn
Not to crave notice…
