Going back to '94 the basic setup is in the future you can buy killer robots from vending machines that self destruct after completing the mission. Scud sees his self destruct coming and doesn't kill his intended target, and as you might expect, fun ensues. Fun fact: co-creator of Rick and Morty Dan Harmon wrote some of this inspired madness.
