So I started fuddling with a Voltron desktop image and before you know it it was a full blown paintover. Tried to combine some old and new school looks here to get something classic with a fresh coat of paint. Hope you enjoy!ΒRelated content

Though I'm grafting my experience with Power Rangers -- before they overtook the plumbing -- this maintains the childhood experience while giving it a more edgy feel without the grittiness.

I agree, although I never got to watch the original show. I only heard about Voltron when I went to the Salvation Army Thriftstore. I found an old Power Ranger combiner, but I didn't know what it was at the time. Neither did the employees, but one of them guessed that it was Voltron. I asked her, "What's Voltron?" and that's how I first heard of it.
When I found out that Netflix had a series, I decided to watch it to see what Voltron was all about, now I'm a fan.

That's awesome.Β Back in the eighties, I used to own a plastic version of Voltron, where all four lions combined to fight as one, and each pilot could be taken in and out of the cockpits.Β I wish I still had it, but my mom donated a lot of my toys when we moved in the late eighties.Β

Thanks. The toy I found was the Omega MegazordΒ fav.me/d9xbmga I realize now that it doesn't look like Voltron, but the colors are similar. What confused me when I first saw it was the fact that I couldn't find any unique markings like an autobot or decepticon symbol. And to this day, I've never seen a single episode of Power Rangers. The toy you had sounds cool though.
