The driver was of course cited for a hit and run traffic violation afterwards.
Gargamel was cited for drunk and disorderly conduct.
And the state made over $500 dollars in fines when it was all said and done..

They sure as hell do.. Here's Gargamel, just trying to give somebody an innocent scare.. And two weeks later, he's picking up garbage on the side of the rode, paying back his two hundred hours of court ordered community service.

At least the USA has a 'Jay walking' penalty. In the UK the driver is ALWAYS at fault even if the person jumped out in front of them. So of course people cross the road all over the place and will stop and stare if you dare keep coming towards them. Jay walking should be made illegal

My God UncleGargy... If anyone tries jumping out in the middle of the road in the USA, people's eyes will get wide and their mouths will spread with insane glee as they smear the fool like peanut butter all across the highway.
Then they'll laugh as the cops attempt to put a ticket into the hands of the deceased corpse.
Motorcyclists used to like to drive their bikes right up through the middle of cars if there was a traffic jam... So the solution that the pissed off stuck in traffic drivers came up with was opening their doors so that they could kill the cyclists as they tried to speed by through the middle of the stopped cars.
