Wow! What kind of PC do you use? Or is the newer, MB 3d 1.89, that much quicker?
....mine's really slow - usually between 1,5 and 15 hrs. Ouch!Β

I have a laptop computer I think an older computer renders slower , have you tried the version 1.89 yet ?

Nope, not yet. You can tell by my rough renderings
Need to find a Linux compatable 1.89. I'm running
a Fujitsu-Siemens desktop with AMD Sempron 3000+
processor (roughly 2,8 GHz) Yes, it's old

I think your computer may be just fine.. There's the option of trying
Linux on your machine from a bootable DVD without changing anything!
Also, you can install Linux alongside windows and choose operative
system when you you start My dads laptop (wndows-vista) works fine
started from my home-burnt Ubuntu disc. Here's where U get it (plus info):

Cost: 1 DVD R disc
