a while back there was an animated movie called Titan AE in which Earth is destroyed by aliens made out of electricity... this guy had build a spaceship called the Titan that, given enough energy could create a whole new planet, but he was killed when the aliens attacked and only his son survived.

After many years the soon learns he has a map to the hidden spaceship in his hand... sort of some kind of device in his hand the projects a light show showing how to find the ship... he teams up with some others and they go off to find it, chased all the while by the electric aliens... in the end, the aliens are about to blast thew Titan with an energy beam, but the kid and his friends manage to repair a circuit that sucks up all the aliens energy and makes a new planet while destroying the aliens totally...

So they land on the new planet and the girl (who is sort of the girlfriend of the kid) asks him what he's going to call the planet, since he created it and he says "Planet Bob"... and she says "you can't calla planet Bob" and he replies "Oh and who made you the king of Bob?"
then they show this graphic as the camera pulls away, that say "New Earth (Planet Bob)"

So a friend of mine and I were discussing something one day and one of us mentioned planet Bob... and the whole idea of changing the name of Earth to Bob grew out of that...

Very good work! Nice textures, and though there's a seemingly dusk sky as a bg, it has a dark and somewhat menacing feel.
