Colors in between hex 000000 (black) and ffffff (white), excluding those. 1000px page, 83 fields, each 12px wide. At each step hex 030c30 (dec 199728) is added, until the max number of hex ffffff (dec 16780151) is reached.

It is no coincidence that the colors from top to bottom shift from blue to red: blue is a the lower end of the values (the right part of the number), red at the higher. The jumps are due to carry during the additions. Like when you add 1 to 999 in decimal, you get 1000. In the case of RGB values, the difference between 999 and 000 matters hugely.

There are also numbers which merely produce NN shades of grey, like 111111, 222222, 333333, ... In these cases the R, G and B values are all equal, only the lower values are darker.
