Sorry for not replying to comments most of the time, but in my head I'm not really "there".

I decided to squarify my CNR/S series, which were perhaps the best thing I did so far here on dA. I used layer upon layer of images of questionable origin for the majority of those, finishing the results using some particular procedure which involved +/- 50% opacity of inversions of different stages, resulting in an apparently evenly grey field, which was subsequently blown out of contrast in order to highlight the minor differences. Hard to explain actually. Even though this procedure generated (in my view) the most interesting of images, I eventually gave up because it all just became a bit too automatic.
