Description
A text which I have been reusing over and over again in my ahrt. It is from the English branch of the Church of Antichrist (i.e. the Catholic Church), written in 1600 AD or thereabouts, and is directed against the heretics who had the audacity to question the Church's exclusive claim on sacerdotal power, i.e. the ability to mediate between the human and the divine through the Holy Sacraments. Clearly not everyone was buying it, or else a document like this wouldn't have been written. Many of the heretics would flee the country to the New World in order to escape persecution, and as such were to lay the basis of American Protestantism.
