These are my own personal, intuitive, emotionally balanced guesstimates / approximates of DayGlo colors, based on the crude scans and color picks from www.deviantart.com/undefinedre… . None of these can be considered optimal for every possible context. As such they should be looked upon as mere hints, to provide at least some starting point. They have great eyehurt potential.

The one I'm the least sure of is arc yellow. I have no idea what it is or is about (what kind of 'arc' did they have in mind?), or how it ever made it into this set. To me it doesn't appear to glo at all. So maybe I got that one all wrong. Corona magenta seems to be a later addition, perhaps under commercial pressure. The ad folk needed it, so they created it. Something like that. The lack of a blue is also striking. Something like electric blue surely exists, but apparently it proved impossible to make it glo.

Update: according to this chart 4.bp.blogspot.com/-Wn_bca8mca8… , they did have a Horizon Blue for screen printing.
