Despite my daily glass of fruit juice in the morning, I only seem to be producing dark stuff these days. Maybe it's the incessant fog outside.

In the Middle Ages there were bands of Christian zealots who roamed the countryside and cities, and almost invariably ended up murdering priests and Jews. Moreover, they did so in the full conviction that they were being guided by the Holy Spirit. And looking around (pr watching TV at least) I'm afraid that zealots-turning-bastards are by no means a thing of the past. Perhaps the current ones are just a little less extreme. For as long as it lasts. The medieval ones were eventually crushed. No established society can tolerate such idiots indefinitely.
