I've been paying some attention to our local "Freedom Party" led by that clown with his hair painted white in order to make himself look more Aryan less Indonesian, and to be honest it depresses me out of my skull. Still, let me address one more issue concerning this aggressive bunch, which I normally refer to as the Neo NSB btw (NSB = Nationaal Socialistische Beweging = National Socialist Movement, a political pseudo-party which was hugely popular in the 1930s and with which the "Freedom Party" has almost everything in common). A while ago chieftain Mr W proposed to impose a tax on the wearing of headscarves by Muslim women. He called it the Kopvoddentaks. What's important here is that in Dutch language there are two different words for a head: humans are supposed to have a "hoofd", while animals have a "kop". It's the latter one that's used here, and so the word Kopvoddentaks effectively implies that Muslims are equal to animals. The word "vodden" means rags, and "taks" stands for tax of course. So in English it would be called a Head Rag Tax, as proposed by an elected member of parliament. The tax was supposed to be imposed under the motto "The Polluter Pays", a motto commonly applied over here to environmental pollution caused by industries and consumers alike. In this case the pollution would apply to "pollution of the Dutch street view". Do you still believe that all of this is true? Well it IS, unfortunately, and the circus still continues on a daily basis.

Hopefully never to be continued, but I fear the worst. Btw luckily for Mr W and his henchmen The Netherlands have a very powerful Silent Majority. Just like we did in the 1930s.
