Description Liege 1989

A seemingly endless stretch of highway on the bank of the river Meuse, trying to get a lift home together with Henry the Negative (trust me, I'm a jolly and cheerful lad compared to how he was), who I had just dragged out of the stupid Krishna cloister in the Ardennes. Actually I went there out of curiosity, to see if there was something there for me, but I quickly discovered that such was not the case, and I equally quickly convinced Henry that he had no business being there either. Still, those were a wonderful two days and a welcome mini-escape from my otherwise dull and nondescript life. But as anyone who is familiar with Liege can confirm, that stretch of highway along the river Meuse has to be among the grimmest places on the planet. Digitally generated impression.
