An attempt at re-creating Petri Pudding www.deviantart.com/undefinedre… in a more eye-pleasing manner. By and large a success I think. I dropped the sharp edge which serves no function. This time the flakes have been spherized to match the 3D illusion caused by blur. The main thing lacking is a grainy surface quality, which was the result of ecstatically flipping and merging layers after pulling some through the Alien Map filter. Such effects are next to impossible to re-create in a sedate and rational, goal-driven mode of existence. Keeping track of them is also impossible because it would break the ecstatic frenzy. And even if GIMP had an easy to use builtin recording tool, using it in such a state would probably be considered sacrilege.
