Description
This hideous picture was produced by rgbscript 0.3, which decrements the initial color while incrementing the next one at the same time. Increment/decrement is hex 33 or decimal 51, which gives the following multiples:hex 33, 66, 99, cc, ff
dec 51, 102, 153, 204, 255
Which just serves to show the elegance of using hex numbers. The palette generated is:
0000ff, 0033cc, 006699, 009966, 00cc33, 00ff00, 33cc00, 669900, 996600, cc3300, ff0000, cc0033, 990066, 660099, 3300cc (and back to 0000ff)
Based on multiples of hex 33, these happen to be what used to be called 'web safe' colors www.rapidtables.com/web/color/…
It is the combination of colors which makes them look so ghastly. In isolation some of these colors, especially the 'dirty' ones, look quite nice. I shall also post the inverted picture ( www.deviantart.com/undefinedre… ), which oddly enough looks in perfect harmony, well, to me at least.
