Description
The Yoshi tribes are were related to the Koopa Kingdom but time and differing environments have made them two distinct species now.

The peaceful Yoshi were allied with the Mushroom Kingdom for many generations. King Bowser took the alliance to his enemies as a personal insult and attacked the island chain. He enslaved the lizard people.

They are not allowed to learn skills or to read, they are not allowed names, and are used as pack animals.

Yoshi was born into this world but he and a few others have begun to go against their peaceful nature and resist Bowsers oppressive rule. With the help of Mario and Luigi the resistance is growing stronger.
