VisBubble is a round audio visualizer for Rainmeter.
It reacts to the sounds on your computer.
FAQ:
Access the settings by double-clicking the skin, or via right-click context menu. You can also open the skin SettingsWindow.ini
The raw settings file is Rainmeter/Skins/VisBubble/Settings.inc
You can't. You can only detect sounds from a single input/output source.
However, you can make VisBubble only appear when you play music. To do so, open Settings.inc and set your player & HideWhenNotPlaying to 1.
Reducing the Num Of Items can reduce the CPU usage. Also, you can increase the skin's Update (right-click, Edit Skin, change the Update= value at the top)
There are many possible problems, check out this post for troubleshooting.
Right-click the skin, click Manage Skin, untick Keep On Screen. Then, modify the x and y position directly by typing.
Select the color in the main window. The right bar is the brightness. The bottom bar is the transparency.
After that, hit the bottom right box (which shows your new color) to confirm.
Click inside the bar to add a new point. Right-click a point to delete it.

The only way is playing with the FFT values (low values make it go faster), and change the sampling rate on windows sounds config (select the higher rate you can), the consequence in two cases is lost smoothness in the signal sampling in low/low-medium frequencies (16-250 approx)
PD: I forgot to say you, change the "Update" value in any skin (or the only that you use), put 0

What are the FFT values? All I could find on Google was about maths.
I tried setting the Update value to 0 and to other different values and trying out multiple sample rates, both without success...

FFTSize= i dont remember the default value, but values under 8192 are relative faster
FFTOverlap= its a formula, put this (#FFTSize #-(#FFTSize #/6))
FFTAttack= sound reaction, the fastest value its -1(or 0)
FFTDecay= the sound decay reaction, same case like FFTAttack

Hi, I have a bit annoying problem, every time that i boot up my pc, the little gradient bar that you get double-clicking the gradientwindow.ini on rainmeter, pops out and I have to disable it manually since is on top of other things on the desktop, and right while I'm writing this, that bar traveled on top of my browser window. Is something that i've done wrong (quite probably) or is it a sort of bug? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I would like to suggest you make an option so we can change the bar shape to have rounded corners. I tried to do this by myself but I did't managed to find exactly how. Thank you!

You should update the purchase option, because it states "includes RM skin" and I thought purchasing meant a extra skin. I spent a long time trying to figure out where the extra option was, but then very bottom of your notes it says there is no difference. I love the skin, and all about support, just FYI, cause it is confusing. Thanks!

Hey! Sorry, and thanks for the feedback. I've placed an additional note at the top of the description as well.
If you bought it by accident, would you like a refund?

That was the first thing I tried, its like it doesn't appear on the desktop anymore. The whole notepad file changed to something different, which is posted above. No matter what i do in the settings window, the visualizer does not appear on the desktop. I've located where it should be by right clicking around until I got the popup with the VisBubble settings. It just stays invisible. And like I said, the first time i downloaded it it worked immediately and I could go into the settings window or settings notepad file and edit some things. After a while the visualizer stopped working, and the original code was replaced by this code, which is completely different.
Any ideas?

Is there a way of getting a gradient for the WaveFilled that starts in the center and finished on the outside?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
undefinist In reply to XulixEmerald [2019-01-08 12:13:39 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, in WaveFilled.ini you can change the last line, the "Fill Color" part to "Fill RadialGradient ..." (Look up the rainmeter docs).
Note that this might look kinda funny because the gradient won't conform to the wave shape, but I'm not sure what look you're after!

I've tried that, and it sets the color to white, even when I it's set to a different color in the settings window even after I refresh it.

Hey, you might have not set it properly.
See docs.rainmeter.net/manual/mete…
In particular, try:
Shape=Path Path | StrokeWidth 0 | Fill RadialGradient MyGradient1
MyGradient1=0,0 | 155,200,232,255 ; 0.0 | 6,46,75,255 ; 1.0
Take note that the gradient will "jiggle" according to the wave.
To prevent that, the easiest way is to use the latest 4.3 beta which adds a new "Container" feature.
Then, just use:
Shape=Path Path | StrokeWidth 0 | Fill Color ffffff
And add a new meter:
[Gradient]
Container=Wave
Meter=Shape
Shape=Ellipse (#ExtrudeMax#+#Radius#),(#ExtrudeMax#+#Radius#),(#ExtrudeMax#+#Radius#),(#ExtrudeMax#+#Radius#) | StrokeWidth 0 | Fill RadialGradient MyGradient1
MyGradient1=0,0 | 155,200,232,255 ; 0.0 | 6,46,75,255 ; 1.0

Can you, instead of adding a pay button on the rmskin, put a paypal donate link on the description so people can post screenshots of their works on the rainmerte group with this skin without being denied?

I love it. Great work.
After starting with your skin, the VisBubble Settings window was not responding at all. I had my skins located in a subfolder of "i:\Eigene Dateien\...\Rainmeter". After moving all my skins into "i:\configs\Rainmeter" it worked fine.
It seems that your skin dont like to be in a path with empty strings.
However, if i look into logging of Rainmeter, iget following errors:
Any ideas?
