Description
Alphys makes her case, and brings up something I’ve always thought was interesting, and in fact, wrote my first major Undertale fanfiction about: why she has a giant skull in her basement =u= It’s fun finally getting to it in this story, but don’t worry, there’s still more to cover.

LOL, joking... I doubt it. He may be beyond exhausted, but at least in my experience (as in, my state since 2002 when I lost my circadian rhythm), once one has been past exhaustion yet forced to stay awake, they can get a second-wind, so to speak, where suddenly they couldn't sleep even if they desperately wanted to. The body going into an emergency survival state. "Oh crap, I haven't been allowed to sleep despite being soooo tired? That must mean we're in danger! Emergency reserves GO! Tiredness protocol canceled!"
...And that is why if I don't medicate, and go to bed IMMEDIATELY as soon as it hits... I then can't sleep for the life of me for at least another 6-8 hours. Thus I keep flip-flopping between day- and night-sleeping and everything in-between, only dropping when that extra reserve is depleted. Not sleepy, but dizzy and weak and physically unable to move anymore.
........Not that Sans will necessarily do that... I keep doing random Storytime cuz this quarantine and lack of structure disrupted my sleep further, which disrupted my ADHD med schedule, which further disrupts my sleep, which makes me go HEY THAT REMINDS ME OF---
........I love your comic. I love that you're including so many mysterious parts of the game that I usually only see pondered upon in analysis posts/videos, but seldom included in comics/fanfics/art. So excited to be in the midst of this intrigue, and to see what you'll be doing with it.

Ehehe, oh man, that sounds rough--I can have trouble with my sleep schedule too, so i feel ya on how hard it can be to keep it something normal when you don't have any external structure to help (adhd-bro high-five!) :"D
But, you're right on in thinking Sans has gotten something of a second wind--he's exhausted, but to the point he'd have a hard time sleeping even if he tried, and all the things Flowey's brought up has him on edge; needless to say, he won't be relaxing anytime soon =u=;;
And aaa thank you ^^ All of this stuff is one of my favorite things to play with when it comes to writing about Undertale; all of my own favorite fancomics and fics generally have to do with exploring the game's hidden secrets, and naturally that's what I write about too. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

The hyper goner does have some similarities indeed, but i'd say it's photoshop flowey himself that bears the most resemblance to the DT extractor--he seems to have borrowed its appearance almost exactly, heheh.
The brother's blasters aren't meant to look exactly like the DT extractor as it is--only that they have some features in common. Papyrus' has the large eye sockets and split upper jaw, and Sans' has the more rounded shape and long nasal opening that continues up the middle of the face -u-
