Appearance > She has all the typical traits of an ice wing - sharp straight horns, serrated claws, the spines coming out of the back of her head. She is a light pink with purple features. You can usually see her adorned with her own creations - shawls of different colors, jewelry, and a center jewel right in the middle of her head.
Scars > She has a scar by her neck covered by her shawl. She's always careful to hide it with one garment or another.

Polarstar grew up in the Ice Kingdom, which meant her education got started fairly early. She loved learning and eagerly dived into it - and often tried to stay at school more than usual to try and get away from home. Later, Polar was a part of the University in her young adult years, hand-picked by the Queen. She took extreme interest in her alchemy and scavenger classes. After graduating, she became a part of the alliance.

Optimistic >
At times it seems Polar has boundless optimism. She believes that things can improve if enough dragons can put their minds to a thing. She also encourages a lot of dragons, often times trying to be the one who pushes them to follow their dreams and such.
Conscientious >
Polar really wishes to make the world a better place, however she can. She tries to do this by her research into alchemy and trying to improve things where she can.
Affable >
Polar tries to be friendly to (most) everyone she meets. She is always going to open up to other dragons. If rejected, Polar tries to not be too hurt by that.
Selfless >
Polar would be willing to put herself in harm's way for her friends. She is very naturally loyal, and therefore this is something that comes naturally to her. She isn't that willing to go out of way for dragons she doesn't trust though.

Polar tends to make last-second decisions on a spur of a moment. This can be very fun in situations such as with experimenting. On the other hand, it can also lead to her blowing things off, or to bad decisions.

Once Polar sets her mind on something, it is very hard to change her track. Sometimes this is a good thing as it lends itself well to determination. Other times it holds her back from seeing things how they really are.

At times Polar can miss a social cue. She often times accidentally hurts a dragon's feeling by saying something inappropriate because of this. However she doesn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings by this either.
NEGATIVE:
Manipulative >
Due to her background and what Polar was taught, she can be manipulative at times. She can play herself up to be a ditz or another personality. She doesn't really like this side of herself, but admits to herself that it is useful. She can twist words also when she wants to.
Anxious >
Polar is regularly anxious despite putting off a happy demeanor most of the time. She is very internally anxious and worries about a lot. Half the time when she's doing one thing she's worrying about another in the back of her mind, and when too many little things go wrong she can suffer an anxiety attack.
Apologetic >
Polar often times apologizes more than necessary. This is a result from her upbringing once more as she often times had to apologize for things one shouldn't have to when she was younger. It's ingrained to her to a point where she sometimes says sorry for saying sorry too much.
Vindictive >
Polar's apologetic nature stops at people she actually dislikes. She tends to hold grudges for a very long time. If you get on her bad side, it will take a long time for her to open up to you again.

> Polar actually liked the young dragon she had been set up to be with. They had been sweet and kind to her. She just... knew she wouldn't be happy there. Plus, she never spent enough time with them to really know what they were like. And now, she'll never probably know.
> Polar loves to sing. It's one of her more creative passions, though she doesn't sing in front of others. Her voice is one of sweetness. Not particularly strong, but she can hold a melody.
> Polar still has some of her tendencies from her family, though she doesn't like to admit it. She likes to pretend to be sweeter than she really is as it is something she was taught. She hates it, but she knows it also gets things to go her way. She'll stop doing such behavior around her friends - that's way too far in her opinion.
> She almost wishes she was in the Order of the Nimbus, but feels like the sorting by the Orb of Unity knew where her talents truly lay, and eagerly participates in alchemy in order to try and help further dragon knowledge.
> She's the one who hit her parents first in the fight. It almost made her feel like her injury was her own fault.
FEARS:
> She fears because that her previous actions will reflect and cause her place in the Alliance to fall through despite that not happening yet.
> Polar has a fear of losing her ability to fly. She loves the feeling so much, and despite it being mostly irrational, she's fearful of such.
> Polar fears of her scavenger dying. This is her dear pet! She doesn't want her to die.
> She's scared of encountering her family again back home, particularly her parents.
> She's also scared of becoming just like her parents and therefore doesn't try to actively seek out power.
WISHES/DREAMS:
> To eventually open her own tailor shop. She has dreamed for it so long, and wishes to be able to create wear for dragons of all kinds. She'd go through
> To return to the Icewing kingdom and not be met with judging glances. That's one of the things she wants the most, but she also knows it's just a dream really. She really wishes to prove herself again - without having to conform to a society she doesn't wish to. She loves her kingdom and wants to improve it, she just doesn't know how, especially as a dragon of 'low society now.'
> She's actually interested in also becoming a professor of the school. She would love to mentor a dragon in order to try and be there for someone who needs it and is interested in.
> Polar would like to know where Bittertongue went, and see him again. Her brother is the only one of her family she'd love to see again.
> Polar, despite her fear, wishes to one day have dragonets. She'd want to care for them fiercely.
