Imprisoned by a gentile world,a world with gentle children,
children who cry to the night,
a night black as death.
Death creeping before the cross,
Crossing upon a broken bridge,
bridged between the slip,
slipping through the sip,
sipping through the raging river.
Raging river my body crashes before rocks,
rocking and shivering at bay,
baying with pain as I see a child,
a child looking at me in the night,
within a night it is finished.
