Summary: There was no sight of struggle or sadness, just opportunity and a new point of view. Faustine, though still a prisoner, feels the compelling desire to finally prove herself worthy of the same treatment once the waters let them return home. Her mind is like a hungry pup, learning all that she can and eventually being able to recite much of Volaires laws, culture and ranking titles but under the tune of songs she conjured to better retell her new knowledge to her superior.
