's Samurai Duelers League battle against ~Masterthecreater 's Cold.
Due to time constraints I wasn't able to do everything I wanted to, but still, I won't deny that was an enjoyable practice. I'm seriously going to work more with frame-by-frame animation from now on.

I'm guessing that the Kuraima and Clarice in this flash are the past lives of Climber and Clarice from Castles of Nations? If so, very clever. Your animation skills are breath-taking. So far I've only read some of your comics and watched the flashes from the different tournaments.
Tell me, were you simply a participant in the tournaments or did you help create them? This concept of expression is very intriguing.

Great job on the animation, as usual! ^^ Not sure how I missed seeing this for so long, but ah well. I love your battle sequences, and the music is SWEET. I was a little put out by Cold's overreaction to the tattoo; my uncle is a pastor and has a tattoo, so being Christian doesn't mean freaking about about everything like that. Doing that only gives people a bad impression about Christians in general.
Oh well; I suppose that's just how the character was made.
Really sweet ending; I like how gentle Kuraima is, and the comic entro was a great way to give the details of the story leading up the fight. Great job, Unknown!

Well, the SDL is an ongoing thing. Anyone can join and you never actually have to battle. But usually people will challenge each other to duels to gain ranks or just for fun. Unknown-person is in the elite rank, meaning he's pretty much as high-ranked as it is possible to be and winning a duel doesn't earn him anything. But people can still challenge him and he can still choose to accept, if he wants. I have a feeling that nobody else has challenged him because would you look at this?! This duel is epic! I'm not sure anybody could beat that.

Yes, I've never seen anything quite like Unknown's style before. It isn't really anime/manga, but then again it isn't entirely western either. It's like some perfect in-between. I think the style is really effective, especially for battle scenes like this. And the movement and body-language is very expressive, just like the character's faces.

I know! I'm so psyched for this fight! All of Rellik's comics are done amazingly well, and the storytelling is just excellent. Unknown is gonna have to pull off something pretty spectacular in order to beat him. i'm sure he can do it, though!

Well, so far everyone I'm cheering for has won (except for Mizuno, but seeing as he's back in the tournament now, I can cheer for him again), but my first pick shall always be Karl.
I learned about Endling through the Endzone tournament, which he hosted. It's too bad he had to drop out of this one; his artwork is great. I'm a fan of his Everafter web-comic.
