PLEASE VIEW THIS BEFORE MAKING YOUR FAN CHARACTER!A simple ref on what I keep in mind when I design these characters. I put rules for myself, so I wouldn't go overboard with the designs.
Forgot to add this! -The shades of gray in the model means: The darker the parts, the more important they are on the body. And the lighter they are, less important. (Meaning, the fingers on a Control aren't obligatory for a Control to function.)
-Controls do not have families. No parents, siblings etc..
-They can get clothes if they want.
-There can be only one sort of Control in each system. But since there are several systems, there can be more of the same sort of Controls. (Example, my concept is my system, but your fan characters live in YOUR system.)
-When a Control dies too many times,(usually after 5-8 times) they become a BUG. This varies with Controls though.
-If they die too many times, they become a bug. Every time a Control dies, they lose a piece of their memory. The more they die, the less they remember. So in the end, when they become a bug, they want to steal other Control's memories to replace what they lost.
-Controls can't feel any sexual desire or have sex, since they don't need to reproduce.
-Controls can, however, gain a deep bond with other Controls who they can trust.
If you have any questions, please ask! But I must say that this concept is still under development, so I will probably not have answers for everything yet.

Please call your character a fan character (FC), not an original character (OC). Yes, there can be several designs of the same Control, just as long as they don't look like each other. I think restart is the same as repeat, so restart is already a media control, sorry ^^

I was wondering, can a control have like, no head or an invisible head? I dunno, just thought it'd be a cool concept. And another question, can they have eyes on different body parts?(eyes on arm,hands, etc.)

I definitely appreciate this. It's very intriguing on its own, and even adds some depth to your characters in some cases. I just have a few questions on how this would work:
If Controls can choose their appearance when they come to be to their own consents, are they capable of choosing if they have eyes and how they appear as well when they're born, or do they simply start out with no eyes by default and just go from there? And if the latter is the case, are they blind until they end up dying or do they see via another method and eyes just exsist with no physical purpose?
I could literally continue my interrogation forever, but I will cease for now to spare you the agony. Those are just my two most burning questions. Of course, none of this is to insult you, you've just sparked my curiosity is all. I patiently await your response.

I believe they can unconsciously choose their appearance, I don't know any details yet. But they basically choose on how they feel like they would look like.
And yes, they get born without eyes. But they do see. Not that good though. The more eyes you have, the more powerful you are. But, every time you die, you lose a part from your memory, so that should balance it out in a way.

I wanted to ask about the eyes, but I saw you answered that already below, so my other question, if they die over and over can they die like.. not respawning anymore? Or other media control with the same type is created instead of the dead one?

So in the end, when they become a bug, they want to steal other Control's memories. This is the only point when Delete can destroy a media control. So, if ex.g Pause would become a bug and get deleted, a new Pause would be created in the next update. (A Control gets created during an update.)

Yess, all start eyeless. They basically age this way too.
And the more eyes they have, the more corrupted they get.

Good morning, I just wanted to say thanks for this! It helps me understand the concept of the characters more, I have to admit, I'm very jealous of your characters and style, it's clean, and entertaining to look at, and your characters have a depth in them that almost makes them seem real.
