Background: When he was younger, he lived with his mother since their parents divorced one another. His mother was a police office, Elliot had looked up to her since he wanted to be like her when he was older. His mother was dismissed when she was framed for something and was sent to jail, Elliot was soon sent over to live with his father.
One night, He was sitting in his treehouse in the backyard. A small ball of light fell out of the sky and landed not far from his backyard. Thinking it was a star, he went out and jumped the fence, trying to find the star.
He instead found some sort of sliver gemstone. Picking up the gem, something rushed through his blood, activating his powers. From there, he tried to hide his powers from his father because he was scared and thought he was going to be sent to a lab to be kill for science. He started to go out at night since his new found powers were driving him crazy.
Elliot saw a mugger and stopped him. This reminded him of his mother. Being inspired by his mother and other superheros, he decided to become one himself, Sliver Star.
