Pokemon Gen 2: Pokemon Gold Version
Completed: 2000
Character: Gold (Hiro), & Silver
Comments: Pokemon Gold is my absolute favorite out of all the Pokemon games. It coincidentally was the game I got with my Gameboy Color (Mine is Pikachu Yellow). So how was I able to play the Blue and Yellow versions without a GBC? I had Pokemon Stadium with the little gameboy pack.
I loved all the new features they added-- the time based events, pokemon breeding, and the ability to go back to the Kanto region and get another set of badges! The changes in the Gym Leaders were fun to see as well. My guy was called Hiro. It brings me back to sadness as the internal battery pack in my gold version has run out. Good bye and good night sweet Hiro and Totodile you live on in my gamer memory.
