Been pretty busy so I don't have a lot of time for a decent digital illustration so here's a somewhat older traditional piece I did for a school project. I don't expect this doing well (honestly prolly shouldn't expect the other pieces other than the dtiy to do well) but might as well share anyways
Anyways, this was a poster about water pollution, and I really wanted to demonstrate its effects on the creatures affected and really make a person feel something for these funky lil guys and what better way to make them care by showing a baby turtle trying to sleep with its dead mom (that's what's happening in the drawing in case you can't tell like a lot of classmates :,D)
This was fun to draw but it runs into the issue of it (physically) being too dark. Hard to tell what's goin on with the lighting, I definitely could've balanced it better but oh well. Still overall conveys the message I wanted to give, and I had my fun doing this despite the grimness of it.
