Her eyes avoided the large, animatronic animals that stood on stage. They were taller than most humans, and probably heavier and wider. It was a wonder how they didn't simply topple over. They were still, like statues from what she could see, but that was understandable since it was nearly midnight. There was no one but herself there.

She had no idea why she was here. Her psychatrist had recommended something like cashiering or shelving, but that sort of job seemed very... unimportant. Not that to the ordinary person that a night guard position was any more important, but to her it held something of urgency.

She knew their names. Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, the stars of the show. They were both infamous and and adored, by children and adults alike, due to their murky past and the company that owned the resturant. M was no stranger to such tales. She was, in fact, a part of it all. To be honest, she was surprised to have even been hired. Her employer had seemed desperate over the line, mumbling something such as the usual guy that would take the shift if no one had taken the position was "stuffed". She didn't know what that had meant, but the word sent chills spilling down her spine.

While she did have some money due to her disability check from the government, it wasn't enough to buy groceries, even while her parents were paying for the shrink. While it wasn't good for insomnia sake, it paid her enough. And, she thought, it might put her at ease. Why else do people face their fears? She would do her required week, and get her check and move on to a new job.

If she lasted that long.
