Getting kinda fed up with how many AI images I see on the main page of DA even after applying filters.
A lot of these new "AI accounts" end up gaining thousands of followers and I can immediately tell that the work they produce would not be acceptable in the actual art industry.
But because it is cheaper and quicker to make it is gaining traction to the point that a lot of AI are even taking commissions from people.
I have heard every argument for and against it but the main issue is that much of the art that was fed into these machines is copyrighted and was not done by consent.
Artists' hard work went into these things, their styles and designs stolen by some tech bros in America.
We already have an issue with reposting stuff on DA. We have issues with porn and borderline illegal content that the site does nothing about.
We can at LEAST put a stop to this! Allow us to flag AI content and accounts. AI could be a useful reference tool, but at the moment that is not the use!
I'm tired of it! At least FurAffinity has an AI art ban. So does Itaku.

I will do my own shout-out to other artists on DA soon, to give a boost to the less-visible ones especially.

I suggest other artists to start posting their work elsewhere where AI is not allowed. Especially smaller artists that are just growing.

AI art is not the future. It is theft. Support real artists.
