High School is wearing red lace skirts and patent leather stilettos.  Going to underground internet cafes and sex with old men.  Taping poetry to hallway mirrors.  Drinking venti caramel machiattos in elevators.  Wear a mouthguard to sleep, and Vaseline-covered lips.  Being naked in an Elementary School bathroom stall.  And broken bra straps.

Romance is Pygmalion's Eliza Doolittle's "portrait of a popular actor and a fashion plate of ladies' dreses, all wildly beyond poor Eliza's means, both torn from newspapers, are pinned up on the wall."  Completed in Five Acts.  Taxi rides to Buckingham Palace that you can't afford.  Being a self-claimed good girl.  A dirty face, from London soot.  Trampled violets in the mud and asking for change.  And how it doesn't exist at all.
