interesting. main problem is that your aspect ratio "correction" is horribly wrong. you multiply x with w*something and thats all wrong, you have to multiply it with h/w. that will make it much nicer. another thing, the feeling of movement / heading of the rings or any kind of response is missing. you are like in a rollercoaster with shut eyes. make it slower, add more material into the SCC. thats all i think.
