Hurrah! A continuation of this picture , with the new wingless 5th edition iteration of the character!

It seems she's gone from one perilous outcome to another, though so far in tact. Now that she's been sold to this very rich and powerful Calishite, she must find her way out of his harem. Here they are engaging in a game of lanceboard! But why are they playing? What's riding on the game? What will happen next? You'll just have to keep watching to find out!

This picture took a lot of extra work to get just right. All the background and foreground details were quite complicated, and intended to give this the look of a richly-decorated space. I used some new paisley pattern brushes on the back wall and red carpet, and a pattern stamp tool with a skew to do the floor itself, but everything else, including the chess board and lamp, were hand-drawn in. It took quite a long time to do this piece, but it's one of my favorites. I will not tell you how many layers I ended up with, with all this going on. Done on my trusty Wacom One.
