Wherefore rejoice? What conquest brings he home?Editorial for the paper again, not quite complete but I spent more time on it than I should have.
The article compared the consequence Obama's policies to the end of the Roman republic, describing how empires fall.
I felt this was silly.
Coming from art history class, I noticed the similar descriptions of how Augustus and Obama used images and art for political purposes. So I used the famous statue to make a hyperbolic satire.
It's still a "gosh darn" conservative school, so it doesn't hurt to fool them a little bit.

Uh huh...
I don't think there's nearly enough Conservative schools out there to be perfectly honest. They're outnumbered by Liberal schools. I would prefer a balance.
