Gavin was born in sinnoh, the city of Hearthome which was one of the biggest cities in Sinnoh. His father was well known for studying fossils, his mother being a surgeon for horse pokemon. Life for him was normal but also boring, he grew to enjoying fossis but fell more in love with the horse pokemon his mom worked with. He never understood why his parents chose to live here with their different jobs being not normally here. Things began to pick up with Team Galactic making their rise. This made his parents decide to move once he was 10 years old to Hoenn hoping for a better life there, away from any threats.

This made Gavin had to start all over with school and friends, doing his best to make good friends. Not one's that were only in for his parents good income which was hard. Around Gavin's 11th birthday he got his first pokemon, a Cranidos that his father managed to get revived. Him and the fossil pokemon didn't get along, with it wanting to headbut anything. Teaching it that it wasn't okay to do it failed with it chasing him around, causing a issue to rise that a big city wouldn't do anymore. So, his mother decided it be better to move to someplace more open space and better for them. A ranch style house, where his mother began to raise rapidashes, ponytas, Blitzles, and Zebrastrikes. Even using her ranch place for some medical visits with other horse pokemon owners. Getting his second pokemon when one of his mother pokemon had a odd colored Ponyta. Gavin right away grew attatched to the ponyta, loving its darker color and darker blue flames. This made the Craindos only jealous that its trainer was now paying attention to another pokemon. Only causing the Craindos to ram things more and run about.

At age 16 he grew bored and couldn't focus on his studies anymore. Leaving the area on one of his mom's Zebrastrikes to go and clear his mind, wanting to figure out how he could compramise with the cranidos. Getting to a place he hoped off the zebrastrike, making sure it wouldn't run off he went deeper to the woods. Soon ambushed by a Team Magma member with a mask, what was going to be a fight was stopped when the member took her mask off. Not wanting to fight as she noticed this guy wasn't going to be a threat, or that he was Team Aqua. Gavin wanting to know why she was here, only got barely any answers from her. He only knew she was set to scout a place, to check for any damage on a earthquake. The two talked but Gavin soon had to go, leaving the girl and going back home with the zebrastrike. Few weeks passed and Gavin couldn't get the name Team Magma out of his head, he wanted to know more about this team. Seeing as his life was dull enough already, not wanting to be this spoiled brat he knew some kids could be. He decided to join, finding the girl again or any Team Magma memeber out and about. Becoming a grunt and seeing the masked girl, only for her to disappear one day. Confused he just went with the flow, making some friends and even getting a shy girl by the name of Fire to talk to him. Becoming friends with her, normally hanging out with her whenever he could. Balancing his life outside the team was hard, his parents wondered why he would be out so long. Even skipping classes which impacted his grades a lot, causing fights with his parents till he one day left the house. Packed his things and stayed in the Team Magma base for now on...

Things happen and it wasn't until Gavin was 21 that he finally decided go back to his parents and apolgize for everything. Finally telling them the truth, his parents were shocked and outraged he joined Team Magma all those years ago. The rage subsided and they were just glad their son was alive still, promising he make them proud some how. Not wanting to disappoint his parents again or if they ever were all those years ago. Hugs and tears of joy were shared before Gavin left the house yet again. This time having a better mind set and going back to finishing up his schooling and enrolling in quadruped pokemon care. Mostly with many of the equinine pokemon, Numels, deer pokemon, and Gogoat line. When he had time off he would start a D&D club in the Team Magma base, getting a few of his friends on it. Even getting Fire to join which he was happy about. A year later remeeting the masked girl who he knows as Ember, as she rejoined the Team. Gavin wasn't sure if she have any fun with the group but was delighted to see she was.

Years passed and things only got worse in Team Magma, Maxie going missing made the team go into chaos almost. The team had to disband with Ember, him, Fire, and a few others going to Issho to find Maxie. Only to get seprated and losing contact with them, the phone they use to keep in touch were shut off. His personal phone was no luck ether, as he didn't know Fire's number or even Embers. Seeing as he had no idea where his current friends are, he decided to settle down Union City and see if he could get a job in PMC. Mostly dealing with pokemon he studied in, wanting to further his career in it. He only remeeting the two ladies during a PMC trip Ember had done A check up he was assigned to of Ember's two numels. hugs were exchanged and the two were soon getting the check up over and done with, promising to catch up more. Gavin felt glad he knew his friends were only and still checks in on them whenever he can, seeing if they have any news on where Maxie is.....

Migheyna: Heyna
- Was Given the Mightyena when he first joined, back then it was a very shy Poochyena.
- Is very tired Mightyena.
- Bit of a limp in his back leg.

Rhampardos: Skull Basher
- Always in a pissy mood.
- Is Gavins first pokemon.
- Doesn't like taking order from him but, would get in attack mode if Gavin is threaten.
- Jealous of all the other pokemon he has.

Rapidash: Blueberry Crumble
- Second pokemon that was given to Gavin.
- Was rasied by him and his mom's Rapidash, the Rapidash has some Issho heritage most likely.
- His go to pokemon when he needs to quickly ride to some place.
- His father was a Zebrastrike most likely.

Charizard: Smog
- Him and Skull Basher get into a lot of fights.
- Very much like Ash's charizard but, would listen to a point.
- Is a big softy deep down, just tends to hide it.

Sharpedo: Shark Girl
- Small shark girl.
- Was caught right when he got to Issho, it had a injury to its tail. Gavin not wanting to leave it quickly caught it and took it to a center right away.
- is a very shy shark, she would advoid battles at all cost.
- Get's scared whenever another Sharpedo bigger then her shows, she gets very panicky and will try to flee.

Was ACTUALLY suppose to be a 1 off character, making his first camoe in a D&D comic I'm working on. Then just became a character after some ideas came.
Out of all the NPC's I own, he is the more well off character and classy guy. But, he doesn't let it get in his head he knows what hard work is.
Does question Ember's sanity a LOT, he fully knows how crazy this girl is like OH god this girl.
