Did this a few weeks ago, finally getting around to posting it here. I realized that, for some reason, I didn't do any improvement memes in 2020 even though I *love* doing them, so I pulled up a sketch from ages past and this happened. XDI really loved magical girl anime in high school, and Arina Tanemura was the tippy-top-top of my list of favorite mangaka for her amazing works Full Moon wo Sagashite and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. So here — celebrating my old loves, we have Takuto and Mitsuki being cute af. <3
There are a lot of things to like about the new version. Like, I actually managed a pretty decent background, the composition isn't too bad, the characters are actually wearing their proper clothes unlike the first time, and there's aa lot more dynamism and movement in the pose — and that's before we even touch on the coloring, which wasn't part of the original sketch. XD
Overall, I'm *quite* satisfied. <3
