Description
Tie Brick: number of tied players for a High VS Low game/season (minimum to make a tie brick: 2 , maximum for entire game: 88)
Example: If 3 players tie in Plinko, three tie bricks are put into the P.O.S.H. in their timeline.
If a 0% to 100% FULL P.O.S.H. happens, the better FULL P.O.S.H.'s will have less Tie Bricks if players don't end in a draw/tie. The less Tie Bricks there are throughout a season's timeline, the warmer the P.O.S.H. above it's equal range counterpart with more Tie Bricks.
Possible Tie Bricks for each game:
1. Rock Paper Scissors?: [no tie b’s] {“making an ‘at first tie’ means two players getting both rocks/papers/scissors’s at first”, will not count as a full tie}
2. Random Quiz?: [15 tie bricks] \15 out of 15 questions correctly/incorrectly answered by everyone/
3. Plinko?: [14 tie bricks] \9 out of 9 Plinko points for everyone OR 0 out of 0 Plinko points for everyone/
4. Mile Run?: [13 tie bricks] \all 13 contestants in game reach 1st place OR Final Place at the same time/
5. Othello?: [12 tie bricks] \all twelve contestants tie at 32/
6. Hole in the Wall?: [11 tie bricks] \all five walls fit for each contestant/
7. Risky Bungee?: [no tie b’s] {only one contestant per bungee rope}
8. Guitaring Contest?: [9 tie bricks] \nine contestants perform absolutely perfect(10) OR absolutely terrible(0) concert/
9. Boxing Tournament?: [no tie b’s] {each round will end if a boxer doesn’t get up within 10 seconds after being knocked over by opponent}
10. The Anvil?: [no tie b’s]
11. 8 Disk Hanoi Tower Speedrun Race?: [6 tie bricks] \six players finishing their towers at the exact same time/
12. Javelin?: [5 tie bricks] \five spears thrown and landing at exact same distance/
13. Dice Wars?: [no tie b’s]
14. Arm Wrestling?: [3 tie bricks] \3 single wins, each win for one player]
15. Musical Chair?: [no tie b’s]
16. Single Penny Toss Prediction?: [no tie b’s]
One player tie in a game (not possible): no bricks
Two players tie in a game: 2 bricks
Three Players tie in a game: 3 bricks
Four+ Players tie in a game: 4+ bricks
Total TIE BRICKS for a season: 88
OTHER DEFINITION VERSION:
Tie Brick: A boundary during the resulting POSH from High VS Low that represents the total number of ties with two or more players during a game.
The lowest number of possible Tie Bricks possible is zero.
The second lowest number of Tie Bricks possible is 2, since a single moment of player tying means a 2-player tie and ending with a single Tie Brick in a whole High VS Low season is not possible
The third lowest number of Tie Bricks possible is 3, for example, if three players won at 64 points each, the POSH would have at least 3 tie bricks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the Highest Possible Number of Tie Bricks for a POSH?
To calculate, I will go through each game to see if a resulting tie is possible for each game.
If it's possible to result in a tie for each game, I will label the game's number of ties as [x tie bricks] with x being the maximum number of ties in that game.
If it's NOT possible to result in a tie, I will instead add the label "[no tie b's]"
Rock Paper Scissors Tournament?:
While it is possible to tie with the same hand shapes with a player during a match in Rock Paper Scissors, for finishing at 1st place or Final Place as one player, and the rule about specific placements going from left to right for each descending round row except for the two very opposite-ended round rows and the middle round row, we have our first [no tie b's] result.
[NO TIE B'S]
Random Quiz?:
Yes, it's possible to tie with all players with the exact same score in the end. Since there are 15 questions/players maximum for each Random Quiz segment, we have our first 15 maximum tie bricks.
15
Plinko?:
Yes, like the Random Quiz segment, it is also possible for all players to end with the exact same score. 14 Players maximum = 14 tie bricks
14 (15+14=29)
Mile Run?:
Yes, it is possible for all 13 players to gather in a perfect horizontal line and make it to the finish at the same time.
13 (29+13=42)
Othello?:
Yes, it is possible for all twelve players to each tie at 32 points, each two players per table tie at 32, 6 tables per Othello segment. (2*6 = 12 tie bricks) [The absolute mid tie is 32 points for everyone]
12 (42+12=54)
Hole in the Wall?:
Yes, all 11 players can make it possible to fit through all 5 of their wall holes, resulting in 11 tie bricks maximum.
11 (54+11=65)
Risky Bungee?:
Each one of the 10 remaining players has only one bungee choice, each bungee ranging from shortest to longest. I think we know where this is going for a second time.
[NO TIE B'S] (65+0=65)
Guitaring Contest?:
Yes, since it is possible for the the judge to be stumped on which performance is the best or worst, if the judge is stumped to the point where there is no single performance spot for the judge to choose, at least two Tie Bricks will appear in the final POSH. If two players tie result in the timeline's target end, the judge will let them move on, If two players tie result in the timeline's OPPOSITE end, the judge will roll an X-sided dice to roll on a numbered contestant for the chosen contestant to move on.
9 (65+9=74)
Boxing Tournament?:
For the same rule about 'left to right descending round rows' for specific placements, there are no tie b's.
[NO TIE B'S] (74+0=74)
The Anvil?:
Based on placement order of each contestant losing all of their lives, it's like the Risky Bungee segment except it's about losing lives from having an anvil land on their heads.
[NO TIE B'S] (74+0=74)
Eight Disk Hanoi Tower Speedrun Race?:
Yes, the timer is set to Hours Minutes Seconds, it is possible for anyone to tie at a certain finished time. If the timer lands on 8:03:54 and at least two players tie at that moment with a split second difference, they will still be tied on 'seconds'.
6 (74+6=80)
Javelin?:
Yes, it is possible to throw spears for all of them to land at the exact same distance.
5 (80+5=85)
Dice Wars?:
For placement reasons between 4th and 1st place, there no tie b's.
[NO TIE B'S] (85+0)
Arm Wrestling?:
Yes, it is possible for all three players to each tie at one win.
3 (85+3=88)
Musical Chair?:
Missing your chance to sit on the chair means losing the game at 2nd place, FINALLY sitting on the chair in time means winning the game at 1st place.
[NO TIE B'S] (88+0)
Single Penny Toss Prediction?:
There's only one player left in this game.
[NO TIE B'S] (88+0)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How many possible Tie Brick Results for a POSH?
0, 2-88 since a single-player-tie-brick is not possible
so the answer is 88.
