Description

So when reading about Lion 'El, I was interested in the last duel against Luther, that ultimately wrought destruction to the entire homeworld of the Dark Angels, Caliban. Instead of focusing this fight on the character like one would do usually I wanted to depict the intense psychic destruction brought by the pair in this struggle.

For Luther, I chose to depict these antlers because it was in opposition with the regal leonic symbolism of Lionel, and was a bit a reminiscent of the deeper, older power chaos and Luther conviction the legacy of Calibanites had been usurped.
