Nicolai Dmitrivitch Korikov was raised in one of the many farming collectives spread throughout the Soviet Union. Always “the big kid”, he was raised with a good heart, taught to help his fellows, and to serve the greater good of the Motherland. So when his powers manifested, he was immediately recruited into a facility designed to train the growing number of individuals with powers appearing throughout Russia. Nicolai excelled in his studies and was given the code-name “Structure” because of his ability to grow to massive size. He was eventually assigned to the newly-formed Red Guard unit, assigned with protecting the Motherland from all manner of threats. Unlike many other members of his team, Nicolai bears no personal ill will towards Steel Wolf, but will combat him if ordered to do so because he feels it is his duty to his homeland and to his teammates.
